Lili Barglowska - Margate Flint Hoops - (Multi)

Dover Street Market proudly presents the second edition of DSM “Jewellery Market”, an initiative spotlighting emerging creative jewellery talents from around the globe – showcasing the very best of the next generation of jewellery designers working today. In collaboration with a number of internationally renowned colleges, schools, and programs, 36 students and recent graduates have been invited to exhibit their work at DSM. Lili Barglowska is a jewellery-maker whose work centers around natural materials and their relation to the cultures which she is a part of. Born in Poland, raised in New York, and now based in London, her experience of cultural fragmentation is the focus of her practice. Lili combines found materials (such as flint from Margate and broken glass from the street), non-precious stones, and ram’s horn with silver to create forms which treat each natural material as precious.
