Dover Street Market proudly presents the second edition of DSM “Jewellery Market”, an initiative spotlighting emerging creative jewellery talents from around the globe – showcasing the very best of the next generation of jewellery designers working today. In collaboration with a number of internationally renowned colleges, schools, and programs, 36 students and recent graduates have been invited to exhibit their work at DSM. Based between Tokyo and the United States, Saki Onoe creates jewellery that celebrates joy, curiosity, and imagination. Drawing on the cultural language of kawaii, her practice challenges conventional ideas of adulthood, reframing cuteness as a source of care, empathy, and empowerment rather than mere aesthetics. Through Studio MoGa, Onoe creates playful yet thoughtful pieces that encourage women to define themselves beyond prescribed social roles.
